We decided to try out Firehouse Subs for dinner. It’s just your average sub place, nothing special…

Seriously, I love this thing. It’s about the closest you can get to a pc in your pocket. I use it to take pictures, surf the internet, update my blogs (I’m using it right now!), email, text, instant message, play games, and probably a few other things that I can’t recall.

We’re gonna be in Seattle over the next few days for Sherri’s wedding. I’ll post a bit more, but until then, if you want to see some pictures of what we’re up to day by day, you can just follow my tumble log.

“DOC”, of course, refers to Dylan Owen Collier, aka “Baby #2″.
Based on what we’ve read, at 23 weeks he should be close to a foot long and weigh in at just over a pound.
From what Amy says, he’s been doing gymnastics in her belly for some time now, but it wasn’t until just the other day that I felt him kick for the first time.
We’ve been predicting all along that little Dylan will be the opposite of Cameron, and I think its really amazing that he’s not even born yet, and we can already see it. Aside from the occasional case of the hiccups, Cameron didn’t do a lot of kicking and moving. At least not without the provocation of a little caffeine.
Little Dylan, on the other hand, appears to practice solo kick-boxing several times a day. In fact, I’m fully prepared to witness him roundhouse the doctor upon entering the world. It should make for an interesting experience.
Amy’s got her 24 week appointment next week. I’ll be post anything intersting.

Cameron’s birthday isn’t actually until Monday (the 30th) but we had some family in town for the weekend, so we celebrated on Saturday instead.
First, we took him to his favorite sushi place, Red Bowl, where he had chicken nuggets and french fries.
Then we headed on over to Monkey Joe’s, where Chris, Kim, and I chased Cameron around for an hour or two. I quickly realized that my daily regimen of sitting in an office chair and drinking coffee didn’t quite prepare me for an afternoon of running and jumping inside large inflatables. Although, I did learn that if you jump in just the right place, you can knock a small child down from 20 feet away. Cameron absolutely loves these places, and I think he liked it even better having all of us there to play with him.
Afterwards, we went home where Kim cooked us a lovely dinner, which was followed by the custom firetruck cake made by yours truly. My mom stated that Cameron HAD to have a fancy cake, so I went all out. It took me about 4 hours, but it turned out pretty damned good if you ask me.
Once we finished stuffing our faces, we let Cameron open his presents, all of which he enjoyed. I’d just like to say thanks to all of those people that sent and/or brought presents, cards, or whatever. We’re thankful every day that he has so many people that love and care for him so much.
After everyone went home on Sunday, Amy and I took Cameron to see the new Pixar movie, WALLE. Considering there was only 5 or 10 minutes of dialogue in the whole movie, it was pretty good.
I think it was a fun birthday, and Cameron really enjoyed the whole weekend. Thanks again to everybody involved.

Amy’s friend Meagan was in town, so we decided to take a little trip to the park. Pullen Park to be exact. Check it out…

My first guess was that Cameron had self-replicated via some form of asexual reproduction in some cunning attempt to overthrow Amy and I, but it turns out Amy had just volunteered us to babysit her friend Morgan’s two kids for the day.
Morgan works part-time at the leasing office of our apartment complex, and gave us our first tour of our apartment. She and Amy hit it off immediately and have been friends ever since.
Fortunately, her two kids are no trouble to watch. Maddox (3) and Talon (almost 1) are really friendly and well-behaved.

Cameron has recently discovered the wonders of the internet. I guess its like they say, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
He spends most of his internet time on the Noggin website. They have lots of little videos and games for him to watch and play, with just enough educational content for him to have fun without realizing that he’s learning at the same time.
I know what you’re thinking… What about the nasty side of the internet? Well don’t worry, cuz I’m on top of it. For ever hour of internet time, I make sure that he spends no more that 20 minutes watching porn. If I had to guess, I’d say his favorite is midget-on-midget, but he’s no stranger to the barnyard fun either.
That’s my boy…
