A Busy Day

I spent the first four hours pulling weeds in the front yard, roots and all. Then I filled in all the bare spots with peat moss, fertilizer, and grass seed. I also watered the backyard and noticed that the seed I put down last weekend is finally starting to sprout. I'm really looking forward to seeing what my lawn looks like next spring.
While I was pulling weeds, Amy was at Lowe's picking up some paint for the downstairs bathroom. Once she came back, I started painting. I had already prepped the room, so it only took me an hour or two to roll everything and cut in around the trim. Amy had bought a new mirror and was telling me about the matching vanity that she had seen. I figured if we were gonna do it, we might as well do it all the way. So I headed over to the Home Depot, picked up the vanity, a new faucet, and matching towel rack, tp holder, etc. Then I came back home, had a quick bite to eat and started tearing the bathroom apart.
I've still got a little bit of the plumbing to do tomorrow since I didn't have any plumber's putty, but for the most part, it's all put together and it looks great! We're really happy with how it turned out. Check it out in the pics and vid...
