Making Amy's Birthday Cake
Today was Amy's 28th birthday, so I baked her a cake, as I usually do when its someone's b-day. I wanted to make something new, so I decided on a Pineapple Upside-down Cake. I was pretty busy at work today, so I was in a bit of a hurry while baking it. Not only did I only buy one can of sliced pineapple instead of two when I was at the store, but when I was making the cake I totally forgot to add the crushed pineapple to the bottom layer, but it wasn't really a problem.
When I was placing the sliced pineapple for the top layer, I cut and arranged them to say "28", but after it was done you couldn't really tell without looking very closely. Oh well, it still tasted delicious and it was nice to have a cake that wasn't slathered in frosting for once.
